I have similar concerns as other commenters regarding power consumption and viable flight time versus payload and passenger weight constraints, especially considerint the fact that the aircraft seems to require 12 motors to accomplish its mission.

Too many moving parts.

The concept is interesting but is essentially a flying compromise with no benefit or advantage over dedicated purpose aircraft. It doesn't lift as well as helicopter and to achieve speeds of 300mph+ would be super inefficient.

I'm thinking on investing in this company but what will be the price of the aircraft taxi that's the real question, plus the revenue and net profit.

Something just dosnt seem right with all the rear propellers creating a drag on the wing when the forward motors are operating,i would have thought the setup would have been more like the Boeing V-22 Osprey.

We are trying to grow the biggest Archer Aviation retail investor community here on youtube, what do we think about the release of this app? are we for the increased capital being spent on this type of infrastructure when you can utilise a ready made app like uber and on uber you can be viewed by the people currently using ground taxis. So therefore you may be able to convert them easier, rather than having to push hard on marketing in order to get people to switch over to the archer app. I am all about dont fix what is not broken so if ubers there I would be utilising uber rather than creating my own until I was guaranteed to have enough cash available with certfication complete rather then spending capital on this now. Just a thought and would love everyones views! I am an Archer Bull btw encase you think I am hating!

Really happy to see this happening. Would be more happy though if the the climbing and transitioning happen at the same time so as to save energy consumed by a vertical climb before transitioning.

How is controllability achieved when landing on a gusty day?

All this to go 100 + mph? What is the useful load and above all, what is the total capable flight time before needing a charge? Don't know if you brilliant people know this, but those props on the trailing edge of the wing present a lot of drag when the drone plane is in forward flight mode. You are trying to make a standard aircraft design fly with a drone for a wing. There's a lot of flight efficiency problems with this design just to meet one goal in having a aircraft that can transition from a vertical take off to forward flight. You met that goal but are failing in many other aerodynamic and flight efficiency areas. But none of these electric flight vehicles will have any reasonable max flight time capability with todays batteries regardless of their designs. Realistically, these alternate power source vehicles are many years away if not decades until they can fly at least a thousand miles and be quickly, within an hour, be recharged. Until then, these are very expensive toys that will never be used in everyday life.
